 The Boat Race

Cambridge vs Oxford Boat Race, Thames, Putney to Chiswick (March 29)

The two most prestigious universities in the world go head to head in a rowing (boat) race from Putney to Hammersmith. Thousands of people line the river banks to drink and cheer on the teams.

 

 The Goat Race

The Goat Race, Spitalfields City Farm (March 29)

A slight spoof on the boat race, the goat race is also now held annually. Head to Spitafields fun to watch the carnage unfold.
