London has lots of unique, traditionally British and interesting things you can do in the evening. 

Here are some ideas to help you find some inspiration in making your trip to London more enjoyable.

Itinerary Ideas for the evening in London

Here are some of things to do in the evening when visiting London or do what many Londoner's do and just go to the local pub.

Jack Ripper Tour and Curry in Brick Lane Head to Brick Lane for a curry (Britain's favourite food) and then try and solve London's most famous serial killer case on a Jack the Ripper Tour.

Sing a Long in a Piano Bar - An Old British tradition is to have a sing a long in a bar around a piano. Four piano bars London Stranger recommends are Coach & Horses (Soho Wed & Sat), Players (Embankment, Charing Cross Theatre), Piano (Kensington High Street) and Piano (Smithfield). If you want a night testing your vocal chords makes sure you check they have a piano singer booked for the night.

Evening River Cruise - Explore the city at night while enjoying a meal. Try City Cruises and Bateaux London to see dining options.

Shopping - Spend an evening shopping Westfield London is open until to 10pm (except Sundays), you can also shop at Harrods, Oxford Street and Westfield Stratford City until 9pm (except Sundays). Carnaby Street shops usually shut at 7pm, while shops in nearby Regent Street usually shut at 8pm. They all shut early on a Sunday.
