Here are some unique adventure experiences outside the pub you may want to consider.

Escaping Zombies - You can escape Zombies in a Mall in nearby Reading or chased by Zombies in a game called 2.8 Hours later.

Challenge yourself and friends to an assault course - Every wondered how you would do on a military assault course? If so try the one out in Dorking, Surrey.

Parktour/Free Running - Leap, jump and run around obstacles at an indoor or outdoor course in this new sport known as free running.

Skirmish/Paintball - Run around with guns shooting people without causing any fatalities (we hope). There are courses in nearby Caterham, North Greenwich (In a bunker) or  for other nearby locations try Delta Force

Go Ape - Navigate around a course swinging from tree tops. The nearest venues to London are Trent Park, Black Park and Bracknell.

Sky Diving & Indoor Sky Diving - The London Parachute School is based near to London but also offers the experience of the indoor sky diving centre at Milton Keynes.

Zorbing - Place yourself in a plastic ball and roll down a hill.

Indoor Climbing - London has qyuite a  few indoor climbing centres and you can even experience ice climbing at Vertical Chill in Covent Garden.

Bungee Jumping - If you are stupid enough to attach some string from your feet and jump then you can do so at the O2 (160 feet) or for super stupid in Windsor (300 feet).

Climb the O2 - Climb up one of London's famous landmarks. 

Horse Riding - There are plenty of places to go horse riding in London including Hyde Park, Wimbledon Park, Lea Valley, Epping Forest and Richmond Park etc.

Spy Games - Get a group of friends together and play spy games out in Milton Keynes.

Power Kiting - Is an extreme sport you can experience in Richmond park.

Kayaking - kayak on the Thames and passed some iconic London landmarks.

Rollerblading - Join a group and skate around London or join in with Easypeasy Skate at Battersea Park every Saturday morning.

Go Karting - Race your friends at a number of tracks in London.

Scavenger Hunt across London - Explore London with the challenge of a treasure hunt across the capital.

Wakeboarding & Water Skiing - Head to the Docklands for some wakeboarding, alternatively the UK's largest water skiing and wakeboard park JBSKI is based nearby in Chertsey Surrey.

Quad Biking- Fly around a track on a quad bike with venues in Essex, Surrey & Kent.

Clay Pidgeon Shooting - Test your shooting skills at the Rectory Farm Shooting ground near Enfield.

Indoor Skiing -  Hemel Hempstead 30 minutes from London is home to the Snow Centre and a 160m slope, there is also Skieasy in Chiswick which has an indoor slope.

Mountain Biking - A short distance out of London are some good tracks for mountain biking at Epping Forest, Epsom Downs, Hainault Forest, Swinley and the Chilterns.

Fast Car Experiences/Track Days - Silverstone and Brands Hatch are nearby race courses where you can be have the adrenalin rush off being driven around a race track at high speed.
