Famous Aussie London Stranger: Character actor/comedian Barry Humphries is our inspirational Aussie London Stranger as his alter ego Dame Edna Everage was chosen to perform at the Queens Jubilee concert in 2002. As Sir Les Patterson he has assisted with diplomatic relations between Australia and Britain and then there was the 1972 cult cringe film he helped produce and star in called the "Adventures of Barry McKenzie" about an Aussie backpacker coming to London.
