The best Sporting events to go to in 2019!

A year of sport in London and some of the other top events in the UK and around the world. Click on the sport for all the events happening this year..



The Boat Race - The historic event takes place on the 7th April, starting at Putney Bridge, between the UK's top two Universities Oxford and Cambridge

Henley Regatta - The biggest and most famous regatta in the world taking place from 3rd-7th July in Henley-on-Thames. Teams from all over the world come to compete with large crowds



FA Cup Final - Taking place on the 18th May at Wembley Stadium - the final two teams in the competition play one last game for the prestigious trophy



Cricket World Cup - The World Cup is coming to England and Wales this year with many of the games happening at the Oval and Lords in London! The tournament starts on 30th May and runs throughout June and into July

The Ashes - The legendary ashes between England and Australia is taking place in England this summer, with the test match happening at Lords from 14th-18th August



Monaco Grand Prix - In the South of France, the glamorous Monaco Grand Prix is taking place from 23rd-26th May this year. One not to miss for the F1 fans

British Grand Prix - If you're looking for an easier option to see F1 live, Just outside London in Northamptonshire the British Grand Prix is taking place from 12th-14th July




Wimbledon - The most prestigious Tennis tournament in the world and the players favourite. Wimbledon is a great day out watching the very best tennis players in the world, having a few drinks and eating strawberries and cream. Taking place from the 1st-14th July

The Masters/Champions Tennis - Grand Slam Champions, former World No.1s and national icons will return to the Hall once again for a dazzling display of high quality tennis and entertainment during the festive season. Taking place from the 28th November-1st December



Six Nations - Kicking off on the 1st February and running through till March - Europe's top Rugby nations go head to head in one the biggest Rugby tournaments in the world

Rugby 7's - The sevens tournament goes all over the world and for 2 days its in London at Twickenham Stadium. There is usually a fancy dress theme every year and it is basically one big party!

Rugby World Cup - Held in Japan but will be shown in many bars across London - starting on 20th September and going right through to November 2nd for the final!


Horse Races

Grand National - The Grand National is the most eagerly anticipated steeplechase. The race unfolds over approximately 4 miles, and is made up of 40 runners, many world famous fences, and a roaring crowd. It is a day that shouldn't be missed. Taking place on the 6th April

Polo in the Park - An event that attracts royalty, expect lots of pink trousers and stinky banter. Taking place from the 7th-9th June

Ascot - A big day in the horse racing calendar. Thousands of people gather in their finest attire to drink, place bets and watch some horse racing. Taking place from the 18th-22nd June

Prix de L'Arc de Triumph - One of the most prestigious horse races in the world that takes place in beautiful Paris. Taking place from the 5th-6th October
