You walk into a romantic, chic and buzzy atmosphere, with an amazing fully stocked friendly bar. The decor transports you to Spain with the cozy tables and classic Miro and Picasso prints. The egalitarian nature of the food is exquisite as it caters for all; carnivores, vegetarians, pescatarians, vegans, gluten free etc…

Everything is traditional, the Jamon Iberico, smoky and nutty is to die for, the delightful croquettes and tortilla are fluffy inside and crunchy outside, the patron peppers are on another level, the squid and the paella are spot on and the desserts are so delicious, we loved the crema catalana with that special crunch on top. amazing value for money, not regular Mayfair prices, an affordable wine list and superb atmosphere!

El pirata is perfect to visit after a stroll through Green Park and visit to Buckingham Palace, a great place to relax after shopping in nearby Oxford Street/Regent Street/Soho or a venue that should be on your short list if you want to impress someone.
